About

Artist, musician, and researcher based in Iceland. I studied engineering mathematics and physics at the National Technical University of Athens and later earned an MA in Music Technology at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. Between 2009 and 2018, I worked alongside the poet Evgenios Aranitsis as his editor and assistant, translating Burroughs, Barthes, and Herbert into Greek. I’ve performed as a DJ under the aliases ΦΑΝΤΑΣΜΑ ΣΤΗ ΜΗΧΑΝΗ and FDSM, and since 2021 I curate “A Silent Trust” at Stegi Radio.
Currently a research engineer at the Intelligent Instruments Lab and ACUTE Research Lab, University of Iceland. My work sits at the intersection of instrument design, embedded machine learning, and sonification — turning inaudible signals like electromagnetic fields and biological data into sound. I bring this research into practice through solo performances and collaborations.
